Nobody with juice??

I'm really surprised nobodys riding on fluid anymore. I might be, I'm back and forth on a street rod styled coilover setup or to put my pumps back on and go adjustable. time will help me to decide, I hope.

I've always wanted to try it, but i was worried about the ride quality. Also have you ever used accumulators, and do you have any pics of past set ups?

I've used them both. I don't understand why everyone says that hydraulics ride bad. As long as you have some coil spring under the cylinder then it rides like factory. I suppose the coilover hydraulic set-up could ride a little rough but I always used Mustang coils that were cut in half because they fit the cups just right. If you were locked up full stroke then it rode like crap. Kinda like a static drop. The reason I don't use Hydros anymore is because of the batteries and the dust that turns to mud around all of the components. also..Have you ever heard someone say " I broke an air line today. I got AIR all over the place...it was a mess"

correct me here if im wrong tony, but shouldnt dros ride the same through out there travel?

yeah. Fluid isn't compressable. the only time it rides shitty is when totally laid out and the suspension bottoms out or when you're totally locked up high and there isn't travel there. any vehicle rides different when you transfer the weight like front up back down. vise versa. But for the most part the right coil rating for the vehicle will make it ride like stock.

Bottom line is there are things to deal with when you use hydros or air. bag rub,cut line,dead batteries,oil leak. Good fab work can stop alot but not all.

dude on lay it low said he doesnt charge his batts but ever 4 weeks. thats his daily he plays with at lights. just up to drive and down to park. im really thinkin about all this.
