moser has a application on there site that u fill out and send to them and they know what to do. i found out that it will be cheaper for me to get chromemoly shafts from them then have them shorten mine.

how hard is it to narrow one chris? mine needs to be done and jeff knows someone who can do it for 150 i dont know if thats a good price and what all is envolved i know u cut the tube down but isnt there a flange on the inside for the seal/race to sit against and what do u do with the plate that the drum attaches to how do u line/square it back up and get it off with out fucking it up. i plan to buy new axles from moser so i just wanna know more about this.

yeah thats a good price to do the housing.
you wont cut the tube down at the end... that way you dont mess with the bearing or the flange. just find a section that has enuff area on both sides of the diff that you need sectioned out... the toughest part is gettin the cut straight (chopsaw) and gettin it true when you weld it up... if its off it'll eat bearing up or the axles wont go in :(
