4.3 oil pump ?s

ok i need to replace my pan with a smaller one (mines out of a blazer) and the oil pumps are different..before we put the motor in we replaced the oil pump..it came with the inlet screen. the regular size oil pan inlet screen is smaller because the pan isnt as deep as the blazers .well i went to go get one today and now they both dont come with the inlet screen. they say to use my stock one..so what should i do because if i use the one i have now and put it in the smaller oil pan it will not bolt up cuse the pan is to small for the inlet any ideas??

i jsut figured out my oil pan on it now is a 4x4 oil pan..but it still doenst help about the oil pump..y would there be two diffrent sizes ones maybe 1/4in longer and size inlets inlets are diffrent..3/4 and 5/8 size holes

have a welding shop modify the smaller one to fit around the pump and inlet

well i called a diffrent orilleys and they said they have a pump for my truck that has the inlet screen with it so idk what the deal was ..its just retarded

yeah thats what i was looking at and then i called orilleys in nashville ...thats were i usually go cuse my school is right down the road..and they said they have the oil pump with it
